Can sent newsletters be modified?

If a newsletter has been sent and you detect errors in the piece, there are some actions you can take to correct them. However, it's important to note that you'll only be able to make edits to images, and they'll only be visible to people who haven't opened the email yet.

How to modify images of a newsletter sent in Icomm:

Access the image repository in the Icomm editor
This repository is where all the images used in your email marketing campaigns are stored.

Make the makeover

Delete the image that contains the error and upload the new image in its place. It is important that you use the same filename to ensure that the image updates correctly in your newsletter.

Note: It is not possible to make changes to the subject, preheader, part, database or advanced options of a submission that has already been made. These elements are linked to the email that has already been sent and cannot be modified later.

It is not possible to retrieve emails from inboxes once they have been sent. This means that if an email has been delivered to the recipient's inbox, its content cannot be retrieved or modified.

It is not possible to change the text within the piece of a newsletter after it has been sent. Therefore, it is important to review and ensure that the content is correct before submitting it.

Suggestion

If you consider that the error in the newsletter is very serious and requires an immediate correction, it is suggested to send a "FE DE ERRATA" to the recipients. In this email, you can apologize for the mistake and provide the correct message or information. However, it is recommended that you only send this type of correction to people who have already opened the erroneous email, to minimize the impact and avoid confusion among recipients.
