Does the Notifications Hub use Cookies?

Yes, the Notifications Hub uses cookies for various purposes. These cookies allow us to assign each user a unique ID, which helps us to recognize when to show them the Opt-in, a banner or an exit Pop-up, among other elements of the platform. The information collected through these cookies helps us personalize the user experience and provide relevant content.

What type of cookies does the Notifications Hub use?

In the article What type of cookies does the Notifications HUB use? in our Help Center, we have detailed the different types of cookies used in the Notifications Hub and their specific function. We recommend that you refer to that article for more details about the cookies used on our platform.

Is the number of subscribers subtracted if the user clears the cookies in their browser?

If a user clears their browser's cookies, it will not be subtracted from the number of registered subscribers in the Notifications Hub. Even after deleting the cookies, the person remains an active subscriber in our database. However, when the person returns to browse the site, they will be asked to opt-in again.

Are subscribers added again after opt-in again?

When a user opts-in again after clearing cookies, they are re-registered on our platform, but will not be counted as an additional subscriber. Instead, a "match" will be performed to recognize that the user was previously another device, and the total number of subscribers will not be increased.
