How can I choose where and when to display the banner?
The use of banners is an effective strategy to capture the attention of your website visitors and promote your important products, services or events. Properly configuring the location and timing of the banner is critical to maximizing its impact and achieving optimal results. In this article, we'll walk you through the steps to choose where and when to display your banner effectively.
Within the Configuration sector in Icomm, you will find options to choose the days and times in which you want your banner to be displayed. It's important to keep these things in mind to avoid overlaps and make sure your banners display correctly.
Icomm gives you three options to select the pages on which you want to display your banner:
All Pages: This option will display the banner on all pages of your website. It's a good choice if you want maximum visibility and don't have specific requirements about which pages should display the banner.
On Specific Pages: If you have particular pages that you want to focus your message or promotion on, you can select this option. To do this, you will need to paste the URLs of the specific sites within your web page in the corresponding field. If you have multiple pages, be sure to separate them with a comma (","). This option allows you to personalize the user experience and target your message to specific audiences.
All pages except...: If there are specific pages where you don't want to display the banner, this option is the one for you. You can select which pages should be excluded by pasting the corresponding URLs separated by commas (","). This option is useful when you have specific pages, such as thank you pages or contact pages, where you don't want to interrupt the user experience with a banner.
In addition to choosing where and on which pages the banner is displayed, you can also configure how often it is displayed to visitors who interact with it. In Icomm, you can set the number of days that must elapse since someone's last interaction with the banner before it is shown to them again. This feature is useful to avoid flooding your visitors with the same message repeatedly and allows for a more balanced user experience.
