How to add HTML sections to a newsletter from the Editor

In Icomm, it is possible to customize newsletters by including sections in HTML directly from the Editor. This allows you to combine static elements, such as headers and footers, with dynamic sections coded in HTML. Below is the step by step to add HTML sections to a newsletter from the Icomm Editor.

Drag the Text piece to the work area
Locate the "Text" piece in the Editor area where you want to add the HTML section of the newsletter.

Select the Source option to enter the code
Once the "Text" piece is located, select the "Source" option to open the code editing window.

Paste the HTML code into the editing window
In the code editing window, paste the HTML code corresponding to the section you want to add to the newsletter. Make sure the code is structured correctly.

Confirm the insertion of the HTML code
After pasting the HTML code, press "OK" to confirm inserting the HTML section into the "Text" piece of the Editor.

In this way, the HTML section will be added to the piece, like the following example:

Add other elements to the newsletter (optional)

You can add other elements to the newsletter, such as images, additional text or design pieces, to complete the composition of the piece. However, it is recommended not to mix too many fixed elements with HTML sections, as it could affect the structure and final design of the newsletter.

Consult Icomm's HTML Tips Guide to optimize the use of this tool and make the most of its functionalities.
