How to automate We miss you campaign
Do you want to keep your customers engaged and reactivate those who have been inactive? Icomm offers you an effective solution for this: schedule automatic newsletter shipments to encourage user repurchases. In this article, we will guide you step by step to set up this campaign.
First you must segment the audience to which the campaign will be directed. We suggest scheduling automatic shipments that impact consumers X days after their last purchase, inviting them to purchase again.
Go to the module Manage Contacts
Enter Virtual Profile
Select New Profile
Fill in the name of the new virtual profile and press OK
Select the regular profile (database) where the field you want to segment is located. For example: Last purchase date.
Select the virtual profile rules to create the segment
For the "We miss you" segment we suggest using the field that contains the Last Purchase Date made by the user
Use the Apply Function function to filter the base
Adds the Exact Date filter to define the segment criteria
Indicates the number of days that have passed since the user's last purchase
Go to Schedule Shipping
New Configuration
Complete the Shipping Configuration Data
Choose the newsletter you want to send and write the subject you want. For example, "We miss you We have a little gift for you ❤️".
Select the profiles you want to impact.
Here you must add the previously created profile. This means that the shipment will reach all contacts who have not made a purchase in the last X days.
This tab is where you must configure the repeat sending.
Activate the Enable repeat sending option
Select the sending schedule: daily, monthly or weekly, depending on the objective. This means that the platform will search every day for contacts that meet the requirements of the profiles established in the "Profiles and Audiences" tab and will send them your newsletter.
Then, choose the time when the automatic delivery will take place. You have three options: at the time of the first shipment (configured in the first tab), at a specific time or every X hours within a time range.
Finally, select an end date for this setting so that auto-send stops at a certain time.
Send to new contacts: This option allows the platform to search for new contacts at regular intervals and automatically send them the newsletter at the time you have selected.
Forward only to contacts who have not opened: This practice is not recommended, as it can overwhelm contacts and even damage the domain's reputation. To impact those who have not opened your emails, it is suggested to work with winback campaigns.
