How to create an automated First Purchase campaign
An effective strategy to maximize user experience and foster loyalty to your brand is through automated first-purchase campaigns. These campaigns are designed to impact users who have made their first purchase by offering them personalized deals and building a strong connection from the start. Additionally, it encourages repeat purchases.
The crucial first step in setting up an automated first-purchase campaign is creating the virtual profile. This profile ensures that the campaign effectively reaches individuals who have made their first purchase.
Go to the Manage Contacts module
Access the Virtual Profile
Select New Profile
Fill in the name of the new virtual profile and press OK
Set up the profile based on the Date of first purchase field
Make sure to adjust the options according to your audience's characteristics and the nature of your products or services.
Once the virtual profile is set up to impact first-time buyers, the next phase is configuring the automated sending. This ensures that the campaign reaches the right users at the right time. Here's an example of how the sending configuration should look:
Go to Delivery Configuration
New Configuration
Complete the Delivery Configuration Data
Choose the newsletter you want to send and write the subject for the First Purchase campaign
Select the virtual profile created in the first step. This means the sending will reach all contacts who made their first purchase in the store.
In this tab, configure the sending repetition. We suggest considering when the Ecommerce integration updates with the Icomm platform (Check from Logs).
Activate the Enable Repeat Delivery option
Choose the sending schedule: daily, monthly, or weekly, based on the goal. This means the platform will look for contacts daily that meet the requirements of the profiles set in the "Profiles and Audiences" tab and send them your newsletter.
Then, choose the time for the automatic sending. You have three options: at the time of the first sending (configured in the first tab), at a specific time, or every X hours within a range of hours.
Lastly, select an End date for this configuration so that automatic sending stops at a specific time.
