How to create an automated Welcome campaign

With Icomm, you can create an automated welcome campaign for your new subscribers and buyers. Below is a step-by-step guide on how to create this campaign.

Profile Creation



It's crucial to note that subscriber integration is not always automatic. Data transfer to the Icomm platform depends on the existing integration with the corresponding e-commerce, for example, through an API.

It is recommended to review and validate the existing integration between the e-commerce and the Icomm platform to ensure a successful data migration.

Create subscription profiles



Create profiles for Subscribers

Option from User Ranking


- Create a profile for contacts who have subscribed in the last 7 days.



- Create another profile for contacts who have not subscribed in the last 6 days.



These profiles ensure that all new contacts are classified correctly.

Option from Virtual Profile


Create virtual subscriber profiles by selecting the rules and necessary data to segment the users you want to impact. Refer to our article Virtual profile: intelligent segmentation in Icomm to learn how to create it.

Subscribers Via API


These subscribers automatically travel to the Icomm platform thanks to the API integration and are stored in a specific profile. Check more details in our article: How to Import Databases via API in Icomm.

Create a profile for Buyers

- Set up a profile for buyers with the rule "Total Purchases: greater than or equal to 1".



This profile should be negativized when configuring the sending. This way, you would be segmenting those subscribers who have not made a purchase. (See more below).

Automated Sending Configuration



Once you have created the profiles, the next phase is to configure the automated sending to ensure that the campaign reaches the right users at the right time. Follow these steps:

Go to the Schedule Sending option.
Select New Configuration.
Fill in the Sending Configuration Data:
- Choose the newsletter you want to send.
- Write the subject for the welcome campaign.

Profiles and Audience



Select the subscriber profiles you want to impact.

Option via API


If you have API integration, select the API Subscribers profile available.



Select the virtual profile of Buyers

- This profile should be negativized to avoid impacting those subscribers who have bought at least once in your store.



Sending Options



Enable Sending Repetition:
- Activate the "Enable sending repetition" option.
- Select the sending schedule: daily, monthly, or weekly, according to your goals.



Via API

You can select the Send to new contacts option to impact contacts that enter automatically through the integration.



End Date:
- Select an end date for this configuration.
