How to create Behavioral Audience in HUB

Behavior

This option allows you to create segmentations based on the behavior of users on a website. The system only takes into account the users who made Opt-In to accept the sending of Web Notifications. For example: People who browsed the “Coats” category in the last seven days.

STEP BY STEP

  1. Enter the Notification HUB module
  2. Select the Web Push tab
  3. Select the Behavioral Audience option
  4. Click on the Create Audience button

  1. Write the name of the new behavior: it must refer to the target audience

  1. Apply filters to create the behavior you want to target

Complete the filters:

  • Exclude or Include a behavior:

  • Filter Type:

• Custom event: To future development.

• URL: URL of the segment/product.

• Page Title: Attribute that is used within the HTML.

  • Select the type of operator:

• Equals

• Contains

• RegExp: if the search is through a regular expression.

  • Value to filter: indicates a value to filter

  • In the last days: indicates the number of days that the segmentation should take into account

  1. Click on the Create button

You can add more behaviors from the + button

Once the behavior is created, no further action is required. It will be listed in the Campaigns tab

When a user no longer meets the determined rules (having browsed the coats category in the last seven days) he is left out of the established segmentation, and so on, with the number of segments that have been created.

Sending a push can be intended for the entire subscriber base or addressed to one or several segments specifically. For example: Special notification to customers who browsed “Coats”, “40% OFF SELECTED COATS”, etc.
