How to grant user permissions
Through this functionality, permissions can be granted to a user to view profiles, parts and/or shipments created by another user of higher or similar rank.
Enter Settings menu
Select List users
Access the advanced actions menu with the blue arrow located on the right side of the screen
Select the Permissions option
The platform will display the list of current user permissions.
To modify the permissions, click on the blue arrow and select the Modify option.
Use this option to add a new assignment:
Click on the Add Permission button
Select the permissions you want to assign to the user:
Allow User: This is the name of the user to whom the permissions will be assigned.
Access data for user: it is a list of users to select the user to whom you want to give access to your data.
Additional options:
• Include dependent usersdata: with this option, it is possible to select whether the user will be able to view bases, campaigns/results only of the selected user and/or of all the users that depend on it. For example, if the user is Admin, they will be able to view everything for each of the users that depend (downwards) on this admin user.
• Assign user campaigns: by choosing this option, all the campaigns linked to the user selected in "Access user data" are assigned to the user. Important: in the case of wanting to assign only some, this must be done from "Assign bell", directly one at a time.
Click on the Save button to finish the procedure.
It is important to keep in mind that although higher-level users can be assigned permissions to view information, lower-level users will not have some functions available, such as database downloads.
This section shows the changes made to the user and details of who made the change and when.
In this step, the option that allows “Modify” the permissions or “Delete” the action is also available.
Once the user selected in the list has been modified, it is possible to get the current permissions of that user and then also append new permissions to it.
