To upload contacts to an SMS database, some preliminary steps must be taken. Learn the step-by-step process in this article.

Preliminary Steps

First, you must create an SMS profile.

For this type of send, it is essential to have the user's cellphone number.

Cellphone Number Format

To ensure that the sendings work correctly, the format must be standardized for all phones in the database. It should be loaded in the following way:

54-(complete phone number without symbols and with area codes).
Example: 54-1130021987

Import Contacts

Loading the database for an SMS profile is done in the same way as importing for a regular profile.

Go to Manage Contacts
Enter Import Contacts
Select the Import option
Choose the SMS profile you want to add the database to
Select the File Source: CSV - Copy/Paste
Define the Action: Add - Replace or Update
Write a Profile Reference
Click on the Add File button
Add the CSV Excel file containing the contact information
The file will be loaded into the platform's File List.



Click on the Import button


Select
New Import: to reload a CSV file.
View Logs: to see the upload status in another section of the platform.



The database will be loaded into the assigned profile. You can see the loading status in the Manage Contacts menu, Logs option.
