# How to Schedule SMS Sending


Configure the sending of an SMS campaign from the Icomm platform.

1. Go to **Delivery Configuration** menu
2. Enter **New SMS Configuration**
Complete the information in the three following tabs:

# Delivery Configuration Data

* **Configuration name**: internal character name to identify the configuration within the delivery list.
* **Campaign**: select the campaign in which the piece to be sent is stored.
* **Newsletter**: select the piece to send.
* **From name**: issuer name
* **Start Date**: date of the first or only shot (shipment) of the part. Both the day and the time can be set.

# Profiles and Audiences

Select the recipients of the shipment.

# Delivery Options

Configure advanced options for shipping. These features are optional.

### Enable Repeat Delivery

This option allows the shipment to be automatically repeated every “x” amount of time (hours, days, months).

1. Select the **Enable Repeat Delivery**
2. Set up repeat delivery

* **Send to new contacts**
It is recommended for shipments that are going to be repeated in the near future and for an updated database with respect to the first shipment. Otherwise, don't select it.

* **Repeat Delivery Every**
Indicate in the box every how many days, hours or months you want to repeat the shipment

3. Select **End Date**
Set the date and time when the shipment ends. (It is recommended to calculate a date that allows the completion of scheduled re-shipments.)

### Enable Delivery Partitions:

Select this option to send in parts. The system will divide the total number of contacts into the number of parts that the user wants and will send them separately.

1. Select the **Enable Delivery Partitions** option
2. Complete setup

**Partition Size (quantity to send)**: indicate in the box the number of shipments you want to make. Example "2".
* **Schedule Partition Delivery Every**: configure how many Days, Hours or Months you want to make the shipments.
* **Set the End Date**: Set the date on which the shipment ends on the calendar.

### Finish

* **Save and exit**
Save the settings. You can continue editing. Shipping will not take place.

| To proceed with the shipment, it is possible to do so by executing the advanced actions from the List Configurations section.

* **Approve and Send**
Approves the configuration and executes the sending of emails, according to the configuration made.

|| In the settings list, the shipping status will show as "Sent-Done" if it is a simple shipping. However, it will appear as “Scheduled” if any of the shipping options are enabled.

* **Cancel**
Cancel the shipping setup. Start programming from scratch.
