How to set up personalized email delivery
To customize a text in the ICOMMKT platform, the following format must be used: <field>. Where FIELD is the exact name of the column that contains the data (within the database) that you want to customize. The system will not take into account upper and lower case letters.
Example
If you want to use the field "name_surname", which is contained in the contact profile (database), the correct way to write the personalization would be: <name_surname>
If, on the other hand, you type <namesurname> or any other combination, the system will not allow you to approve the sending of the email and will report an incompatibility between the selected piece and the profile(s) in question.
Customize text in HTML Newsletter
Anything with text on a piece can be personalized.
Once inside the selected editor:
- Enter the text editor (HTML Template or Editor)
On the right side of the editor, there is the option to customize text from the profile data: “Profile Fields”
- Write the name of the profile that will be included in the shipment.
Once the profile is selected, the fields that it has in it will automatically appear.
- Select the field you want to customize in the text
Use the + button to add the desired field in the text. In this way, the system will replace the code <name> with the contact information.
Customize text in Newsletter Editor
Once the piece is customized, configure the delivery with subjects and preheaders.
- Select the option Approve and Schedule to go to the shipping configuration
Customize Issues/Preaheaders

- In the Delivery Configuration section
- In the Configuration Data tab, use the tool-shaped icon next to the Subject field
Select Personalize Subject
- Select the profile data you want to include in the personalized text
Choose one of the data contained in the profile to customize the subject text.
Ready. The personalized data will be included in the text of the subject or preheader.
