Icomm meets new Google and Yahoo requirements for bulk senders

Icomm is aligned with the new requirements for senders that Google and Yahoo have established starting in 2024. These updates are designed to ensure greater authentication and security in the mass sending of emails.

All shipments made from the Icomm platform have robust email authentication, including SPF, DKIM, and DMARC. These measures represent the first of the regulations that carriers will require against spam, as they verify the authenticity of the sender, ensuring that emails actually come from the claimed source.

- SPF (Sender Policy Framework): Helps prevent the forgery of sender addresses.
- DKIM (DomainKeys Identified Mail): Ensures the integrity of the message content and verifies that it has not been altered.
- DMARC (Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting, and Conformance): Combines SPF and DKIM to provide an additional layer of authentication and establish clear policies for message delivery.

On the other hand, Google and Yahoo will require ease of unsubscribing in mass mailings. In this regard, it is important to mention that Icomm has a one-click unsubscribe link. Thus, recipients can easily choose not to receive more emails, complying with transparency and respect for user privacy standards.

In addition to authentication and ease of unsubscribing, senders must ensure to keep their spam rate below 0.3%. It is essential to understand that the spam rate may vary depending on the user and sending domain. To avoid delivery problems, we recommend our users to monitor and keep their spam rates within the limits set by email service providers for 2024.
