What is the difference between Last Viewed Pop-up and Browsing History?
In this article, we'll explore the difference between two key features in the Showcases option of our Notifications Hub: the Last Viewed Pop-up and the Browsing History.
Both are valuable tools that allow you to display specific products to your customers based on their browsing behavior on your website. Although they share the function of displaying previously visited products, there are notable differences in the number of products displayed and how they are presented.
Browsing History is a feature that displays the last 10 products the customer has viewed on your website. This feature has a broader focus and gives the client an overview of their recent browsing activities. By displaying a list of products, Browsing History allows the customer to easily remember previously viewed items and return to them if necessary. In addition, you can take advantage of this feature to send reminders through email marketing, highlighting the products that the customer has previously shown interest in.
On the other hand, the Last Viewed Pop-up differs by showing only the last two products that the customer visited on your website. This feature is more narrow and focused in focus, but can be effective in creating a sense of urgency or immediate reminder. By featuring just two products, the Last Viewed Pop-up captures the customer's attention and encourages them to reconsider those specific items. This approach can be particularly useful if you want to promote special offers, highlight popular products, or encourage quick decision-making.
