Why does plain text appear in the email subject line?

Although it is not very common, on some occasions, the plain text that is placed in the newsletters can appear in the subject of the email, especially in the desktop Gmail box.

In the case of Gmail in its desktop version, if the subject of the email is short enough, the description of the first image of the newsletter can be displayed instead of the subject itself. This can lead to a confusing experience for recipients, since the actual subject of the email is not immediately visible.

Recommendations

Use longer subject lines: By extending the subject line, making sure it doesn't exceed the limits recommended by different email providers, you can prevent the image description from displaying instead of the actual subject line.

Importantly, when extending your subject line, you should keep it concise and relevant enough to grab the recipient's attention. Take care that your subject is not so long that it is unattractive or cut off on mobile devices or other email clients.
