Why doesn't META data travel to Icomm?
The integration between Facebook and Icomm allows users to get valuable data from leads generated through LeadAds forms. However, on occasion, data may not travel correctly to the Icomm platform. In this article, we will explain how to approach and solve this problem step by step.
When the registration data is not being entered correctly to the associated profile in Icomm, the first thing to do is verify in Meta that the Icomm app is correctly associated and receiving the data properly.
On this page, you will find the list of pages associated with the corresponding Facebook account.
In the SELECTED PAGE WEBHOOK SUBSCRIPTION section, Meta will list the apps that have subscribed to said form.
Verify that the app with identifier n* 270332495411 is within said list, associated with the "leadgen" subscribed field.
Sometimes there may be an error in the association with the CRM used to manage the account, as shown in the following image:
In this case, review the section in the Meta Business Manager Help Desk: To assign access permissions to potential customers to CRM systems
If the app is not subscribed, repeat the integration process within the Icomm platform.
If the app is correctly subscribed, proceed to "CREATE POTENTIAL CUSTOMER" by clicking on the button.
Once the potential customer has been created, click on the "MONITOR THE STATUS" button to view the status of the test request sent by Meta to Icomm.
After performing these steps, you should see the status as "Success". If you see "Failure", wait about 30 seconds and try again with "PERFORM STATUS MONITOR". If the issue persists, follow the steps below to verify your settings.
Make sure the integration has the necessary permissions to work properly.
Before integrating, check that the selected Facebook page is correctly linked with Icomm.
Double check the required permissions to ensure the integration is successful.
Create the profile ONLY with the EMAIL field; the other fields will be automatically generated with a specific nomenclature once the data starts traveling.
Make sure the linked form is active; if there is no active form, there will be no data for them to enter.
Remember that the integration IS NOT RETROACTIVE, which means that the data will start traveling from the date the integration was made.
If you make changes to the integration after configuring it, the platform will not pick up the changes correctly unless you unlink and relink the integration from scratch.
In the case of forms, the fields are named both from the user's view and from the back.
How is it corrected?
• Enter the creation of the form.
• In the "Content" tab, "questions" option, describe them as the client will see them.
• The second tab of “Configuration” option “field identifiers” is what will be linked directly with icomm.
• In this case, it is necessary to do the crossing correctly, name these fields as “correo_electronico” (without accent or space) / “email” / “mail”
• Once the nomenclature is corrected, enter the form and leave a piece of information to confirm that you are traveling correctly.
Important: if something is modified with the integration made, the platform does not take the change correctly if it is not unlinked and relinked from scratch.
Step 1: Verify association in Meta
When the registration data is not being entered correctly to the associated profile in Icomm, the first thing to do is verify in Meta that the Icomm app is correctly associated and receiving the data properly.

On this page, you will find the list of pages associated with the corresponding Facebook account.
Select the appropriate page and then the LeadAd form.
In the SELECTED PAGE WEBHOOK SUBSCRIPTION section, Meta will list the apps that have subscribed to said form.
Check the identifier number
Verify that the app with identifier n* 270332495411 is within said list, associated with the "leadgen" subscribed field.
CRM Permissions
Sometimes there may be an error in the association with the CRM used to manage the account, as shown in the following image:
In this case, review the section in the Meta Business Manager Help Desk: To assign access permissions to potential customers to CRM systems
Step 2: Create Lead and Follow Up
If the app is not subscribed, repeat the integration process within the Icomm platform.
Option 1: Review required permissions
Make sure the integration has the necessary permissions to work properly.
Option 2: Review the selected page
Before integrating, check that the selected Facebook page is correctly linked with Icomm.
Option 3: Review necessary permissions (again)
Double check the required permissions to ensure the integration is successful.
Option 4: Naming the form fields
Create the profile ONLY with the EMAIL field; the other fields will be automatically generated with a specific nomenclature once the data starts traveling.
Option 5: Check active form
Make sure the linked form is active; if there is no active form, there will be no data for them to enter.
Remember that the integration IS NOT RETROACTIVE, which means that the data will start traveling from the date the integration was made.
If you make changes to the integration after configuring it, the platform will not pick up the changes correctly unless you unlink and relink the integration from scratch.
Mistakes on Facebook
Incorrectly named fields
